UNT Discovery Park

Welcome to the MTSE Department's new home at the UNT Discovery Park! The College of Engineering will occupy approximately 180,000 square feet of the 550,000 square feet available at the UNT Discovery Park (the former Texas Instrument's property), located four miles from the main Denton campus near the junction of U.S. Highway 77 and Loop 288, just east of I-35.

Remodeled in 2004, the MTSE Wing (E) of the Discovery Park has state of the art facilities for fundamental research. MTSE will also be further expanding its laboratory space in phase 2 of construction.

The Discovery Park also has state of the art multimedia equipped classrooms, enabling instructors the use of computers and web-based teaching.

Take the bus from the main campus (click the link for the route and times) or...

Follow Oak St. (North side of campus)
WEST to Bonnie Brae.
Take a RIGHT on Bonnie Brae (north) for approx. 4 miles to Elm St.
Take a RIGHT (east) on Elm for approx. 0.75 miles to the Discovery Park
Once at the Discovery Park, enter past the guard shack and take a RIGHT on Perimeter Rd. Follow this all the way around the Discovery Park to Lot 9 or 10. MSE is inside the door facing the parking lot.

Take the TX-288 LOOP N ramp (.2 miles)
Merge onto N TX-288 LOOP N. (4.9 miles)
Take the US-77 exit. (.2 miles)
Turn LEFT onto N ELM ST/US-77 S. (.3 miles)
